Knaresborough Celtic went through to the next round of the League Challenge Cup with a 9-0 demolition of Wetherby Athletic A.  On a difficult surface, both teams failed to control the game for long periods.  Even though Celtic hit the woodwork 3 times in the first half, the interval score was only 2-0, although Wetherby were unlucky not to score, with a double goal-line save by Celtic keeper Travis Clolinger.  Celtic played some flowing football in the 2nd half and piled up the goals as their opponents tired, although Wetherby kept battling right to the end. A consolation goal was denied by an excellent Clolinger penalty save. Celtic goals came from Gavin Hodson (3), Joe Gresty and James Watson, 2 a piece, Connor McDaid and an own goal.
