Squad Overview
 
 
  • The u8s play in the Harrogate and Wharfedale friendly league and have finished their league fixtures for this season. The team has performed really well, competed with the best and certainly won a significant  proportion of their games. We have a large squad of 35 players of all abilities and have seen good all round improvement this year. We are looking to enter a number of the spring/ summer tournaments , details of which will be available in due course.  Key dates for the diary include:

    Sunday 26th April - the league gala tournament

    Presentation Night - 8th June, 7pm at Knaresborough Working Mens Club

    Presidents Cup - Saturday 20th June

    Signing on night - Friday 3rd July




A look at our current and previous seasons
2008/09
We play our matches in the Harrogate & Wharfedale Friendly League, which is a local league comprising 12 teams. As well as home or away league fixtures, we play in a cup competition and in addition organise regular friendly matches and development games. Currently, we have 3 squad members training with Leeds United Development Squad, with two players selected for Leeds United Shadow Squad.

Final League Position:

Place 5th, Played 22, Won 11, Lost 7, Drawn 4, For 64, Against 34, GD 30, Points 37.
