Knaresborough Celtic Junior Football Club is a
community club, which exists to
provide a safe and fun environment for children of all ages from Knaresborough and
the surrounding villages to learn and participate in organised football. Founded in 1995, we operate on a completely voluntary basis and are run by enthusiastic parents. Our core values are to ensure that the social aspects of team sports are highlighted as much as the technical elements of football and that football is an inclusive game appropriate for all children. |

We have an established infrastructure in place to ensure continuity through all age groups and we run teams in organised Leagues from Under-8 through to Under-17 inclusively. We also have a Nursery section which provides coaching for children from as young as four years old before graduation to the Under-8's. In addition, we have Girls teams from Age 10 through to 16. |
Furthermore, we also have a senior team
in the Harrogate and District Saturday league. All age groups are run by Team Managers and Assistant Managers who have attended and passed the appropriate FA
Qualification requirements. This includes not just coaching but also First Aid and
Child Protection courses. Additionally, all age groups have a Parents Representative
and anyone connected with the club - players (and their parents), coaches, league
officials - are required to adhere to a published Code of Conduct. |
